Joint research works are carried out with academic (GEOHI, IMET, IONH, etc.), industry (VIMS, VILS, TsNIIchermet, etc.) institutes and universities (MISIS, MSU), as well as work on applications of enterprises and organizations for the analysis and research of the properties of non-ferrous, rare, precious and ferrous metals, their alloys and compounds, semiconductor materials, mineral and secondary raw materials, environmental objects. Among the users of the CCP are federal organizations (Ministry of Internal Affairs, FSB, SCC), institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences (INR, IFP, GEOHI, IMET, IONH, etc.), industry institutes (VIMS, VILS, VNIITS, GIPROCMO, TSNIICHERMET, etc.).

Universities (MISIS, MSU), industrial enterprises and joint-stock companies (Association “ANALYTICS”, “Moscow Quality”, Rosinspektorat, ANSERTECO, MMC “Norilsk Nickel”, Krasnoyarsk Non-ferrous Metals Plant, Prioksky Non-ferrous Metals Plant, Solikamsk magnesium Plant, Shchelkovsky secondary Metals Plant, plant “Salyut”, LLC “PZCM-Vtormet”, LLC PG “ROSKONTACT», LLC “DRAGTSVETMET”, etc.). The CCP-IACC of GIREDMET is included in the List of the State Customs Committee of the Russian Federation – in the list of testing laboratories approved for control in the foreign economic turnover of raw materials containing precious metals.

CCP IACC GIREDMETA has agreements on mutual recognition of test results / analysis with a number of foreign organizations: Johnson Matthey (England), National Physical Laboratory (Israel), Institute of Non-Ferrous Metals (Beijing, China), Atomic Energy Agency (England).

The Division for Standardization, Certification and Control of the chemical composition of Substances and Materials regularly takes an active part in the programs of interlaboratory comparative tests and professional testing at the international level, organized by such major foreign organizations as Johnson Mattew, IGAS GmbH (Germany), Institute Fresenius GmbH (Germany), Forschungszentrum Julich GmbH (Germany), Rocky Mountain Research Group (USA), etc.

A significant part of the work of the CCP-IACC is the certification of products for export, Giredmet certificates are recognized in many countries of the world. This is facilitated by the active participation of the CCP in the work of the Scientific Councils of the Russian Academy of Sciences on analytical chemistry and chemistry of high-purity substances, the Association of analytical centers «Analytica», international organizations — the International Community for Laboratory Accreditation (ILAC), the International Committee for Ensuring the Uniformity of Measurements in Analytical Chemistry (CITAC), etc.
